ORIGO Education started in 1995 as a professional learning company with an exclusive focus on Pre-K through Grade 6 mathematics. Since then, we have been busy further developing our core program ORIGO Stepping Stones and various supplemental math resources for the classroom.
Our company’s mission is to make mathematics meaningful, enjoyable, and accessible to all. ORIGO Education is grounded on four strong beliefs:
- Learning is a social process that requires language and discourse;
- Students who develop strong thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills grow into productive, innovative members of society;
- Content taught conceptually, and in a logical, learner-friendly sequence develops deep understanding and success; and
- Technology empowers rather than replaces educators.
ORIGO Education offers a tailored comprehensive professional learning program that is built from the latest research on mathematics teaching and learning as well as implementation science. Our team of learning service educators offer coaching sessions, strategies to leverage supplemental resources, and embedded on-demand support to meet the unique needs of each school or district with whom we work.
We look forward to partnering with you to strengthen mathematics teaching and learning in your community.
We make learning mathematics meaningful, enjoyable, and accessible for all.
Professional Learning through The Science of Implementation
ORIGO Education knows, and research confirms, that having a mathematics curriculum and resources program that provides positive outcomes for students, teachers, and the school community starts with an effective implementation.
In recent years, the National Implementation Research Network has identified best practices and developed frameworks around each stage of the implementation process: Exploration, Installation, Initial Implementation, and Full Implementation. ORIGO Education has taken the lead to use the science of implementation to help schools and districts offer ORIGO Stepping Stones with fidelity.
ORIGO Education and its dedicated implementation team are with you every step of the way in the process. From determining funding, identify resources, and outlining ongoing training and coaching to developing a communication plan for key stakeholders, we are committed to your district during the entire process through onsite and online support.
